Here's the recipe for a home mold-deterrent spray:

•  2 teaspoons tea tree oil

•  2 cups water

  Combine these ingredients in a spray bottle and spray on problem areas (like shower curtains, back splashes for sinks, etc) without rinsing to neutralize mold.
