Is Your Asthma Really Under Control?

Asthma is a condition that can be very difficult to control.  From one month to the next, a new trigger may start the familiar cycle of one asthma attack after another until you eliminate the allergen or are able to control the attacks with your medication.

Did you know that this might be a sign that your asthma is out of control?

A survey was recently conducted to determine how well patients with asthma were controlling their symptoms and living healthy lives.  The results of this survey were a bit shocking to medical professionals.  Most people were describe their asthma as being under control, but further questioning uncovered the fact that asthma was dictating how these people lived their lives.

This video features two doctors (Mike Tringale, M.S.M., from the Allergy and Asthma Foundation of America and Dr. William Berger, author of "Allergies and Asthma for Dummies") who are some of the nation's foremost authorities on asthma.
